She said it...
In discussing her opposition to legislation regulating abortion providers that was authored by a Democrat woman and passed the Louisiana state legislature with overwhelming bipartisan support, Mary Landrieu gave POLITICO the following quote:
“I believe the last place the government needs to be is in the church, in the doctor’s office or in the bedroom.” – US Sen. Mary Landrieu, 6/12/14, POLITICO
Contrast that to her vote for and continued support of ObamaCare:
“The Affordable Care Act, as I said, the bill itself has got very good concepts and yes, I would support it again.” – Landrieu, 12/5/13, WAFB TV
“Not only is Mary Landrieu wildly out of touch with Louisiana on the abortion issue, her stance on government involvement in health care is incredibly contradictory. If the last place government needs to be in is the doctor’s office, why did Landrieu vote for ObamaCare and continue to support its massive intrusions into the health care decisions of everyday Americans?” – Ben Voelkel, RNC spokesman
