Landrieu Down 9 in New Poll

After again peddling her clout myth, endorsing ObamaCare and grading President Obama a 7 out of 10 in last night’s debate, Mary Landrieu gets more bad news this morning with a new poll from Rasmussen. Landrieu trails by nine points in a head to head matchup against Congressman Bill Cassidy, 52-43, and remains in the low 40s in the November election. And in a sign of how toxic the national environment is for Democrats, Republicans lead on the generic ballot 50-43 according to a new ABC News / Washington Post poll of likely voters – nearly identical to their survey from the same period in 2010.

Rasmussen Poll – Cassidy +9

Cassidy 52

Landrieu 43

With Landrieu continuing her full-on embrace of the Obama agenda, it’s little surprise that Congressman Cassidy has the largest lead of any battleground Senate race according to Real Clear Politics.
