With Mary Landrieu, Louisiana Loses
Mary Landrieu’s rhetoric paints her as a fighter for Louisiana. Yet, when it comes to passing important legislation on behalf of her constituents, she comes up short every time.
“All we ever see from Sen. Landrieu and her campaign are big claims of how Louisiana needs her in order to survive," LAGOP Spokesman Ryan Cross said. "Yet, here is another example where Landrieu's claims of indispensability are nothing more than cheap talk. The president she supports 97 percent of the time is already putting out the word that he is not listening to her.”

“The Obama administration Monday night expressed opposition to a bill that would delay for four years flood insurance premium increases being implemented under a 2012 law.
The White House expressed concern about the fiscal impact of the delays on the National Flood Insurance Program, though it stopped short of issuing a veto threat.”
